From Kanyakumari in the south to the Himalayas in the north, the worship of the Supreme Goddess Chandi is revered as the most exalted form of devotion, embraced by countless devotees across the land. The three principal modes of this worship are Japa (recitation), Homa (fire ritual), and Tarpana (offering of libations).
This Goddess is described in the Markandeya Purana, one of the eighteen Puranas composed by Sage Vedavyasa. That section is known as the Durga Saptashati. It contains thirteen chapters with seven hundred verses. For the welfare of the world and for universal peace, we have resolved to perform a Shata Chandi Yagna (100 Recitations with 10 Fire Rituals) and, for the pleasure of the Supreme Lord, a Shata Rudrabhishekam (100 Rudra Abhishekams with 10 Rudra Homas), to be held from September 22, 2025 to October 1, 2025.

On Ekadashi, a Sudarshana Homam is performed along with the chanting of Purusha Sukta and Sri Sukta. On Ashtami, a Durga Saptashati Chandi Homam is performed.
